A Special meeting of Council will be held on Wednesday August 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

Join us on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Amaranth Municipal Park for an evening of family fun and community spirit!

Online Credit Card Payments Now Available

The Township of Amaranth now offers a convenient way to pay your property taxes, water account, building permits, dog tags and municipal invoices online using a credit card with our secure payment provider (fees apply).

What You’ll Need:

19-digit roll number (found on your property tax bill)

Customer number, invoice number or building permit number located on your invoice

The amount you wish to pay

A valid credit card

Note: When paying using a credit card a convenience fee will be applied to the payment amount.

The Township of Amaranth’s 172nd Anniversary & Community BBQ

Join us as we celebrate 172 incredible years of community spirit on Wednesday August 12th, 2026, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Amaranth Municipal Park!

Bring the whole family for an evening of free fun and festivities, including:

  • Bouncy Castle
  • Vendor Market
  • Photobooth, Games
  • Optimist Club Bike Roadeo
  • Food Bank Donation Drop-off

The Community BBQ is free for everyone to enjoy. Each guest may receive one free meal while quantities last. In lieu of a meal fee, we encourage attendees to bring a non-perishable food item or make a monetary donation in support of our local food bank. Every donation helps make a difference for our families in our community. Additional food items will be available for purchase (cash only).

  • Gluten free options are not available
